Lies Lies Lies
That’s all there is to it.
Just plain obvious lies that the face of ignorance cannot see.
That fat man with a cigar in his mouth puts a paper in front of you.
You see words, so many words, you don’t even bother to read them.
On that paper, those words are dark magic trapping you the minute the pen touches the paper.
He shakes your hand.
You’re trained for some time.
You come out with a new song.
Your song is the top of every music chart.
You sell millions of albums.
Your concert sells out in minutes.
You’re caught up with the fame, you don’t even know what’s going on behind you.
Money is being made.
That fat man with a cigar laughs at his desk, counting the money you worked hard to make.
The money isn’t enough.
His everlasting greed craves for more.
He lies and tells you that you’re doing great.
He makes you work harder than you should.
You want breaks, he wants money.
You want to live a normal life, he wants money.
You want to quit, he wants money.
You didn’t read the contract, you let ignorance listen to the fat guy.
But once you’re finally free, you leave everything behind.
The fat man stole everything from you.
Soon, he’ll be ready for his next victim.
