Kaylin
Now I sit somber in a hole
And recall a love I could never cajole
Our love written in the stars, must be ancestral
To heal my hearts scars you know you’re integral
Bound by souls we separated with an icy fence
Not realizing true love requires reticence
I writhe in sorrow for all we once held
And wonder how a love so perfect ever failed
The sins, all of my wrongs, truly abominable
Making my apologies all less than nominal
I run from your memory, regret incessant
Down I strike myself, the moon waning, crescent
Finally free, truly elated
Realizing our love was always tragedy-fated
