Growing up, riding at the same speed.
Every year, still by my side.
Relatives connected us, our minds bonded us.
I was there, every small fight and every time you cried.

With every mile and hour,
The colors of the world changed
People around us boarded and stepped off.
Still, our relationship remained the same.

A country now separates us
Lakes, fields, mountains and rivers
We have learned from each other,
We have gone through different Misses and different Misters

A thousand miles may be between.
We may endure different weather.
Separation is the pain we can still share.
But at least we will suffer together.

I would feel the years of pain I’ve felt-
I would feel it ten times more,
I would gladly endure this evil forever
but I would never take score.

For if I could see you, just one more hour
I would forget all the time that has passed.
The evil would die and my heart would smile.
Just as long as we were together- at last.
