An angel
She was
More holy than any
but
No one could see
her true beauty.
All they saw
were marks of crucifixion
on her arms.
So they cast her out
And seeing her glory
Sought to bring her down
Until
She returned to heaven.

The author's comments:
This is a piece I wrote about a young girl who battled with depression until her bullies caused her to end her life. I compared her with an angel because I feel that really that's what many people going through bullying are. They should be an inspiration to everyone.
