The fresh scent of grass
Lingers in the cool misty air
Little droplets of dew
Scattered everywhere
A bird chirping a welcome
High in a tree
Other birds awaken
And show they agree
The bright blue sky
The warn sun rising
The rustle of leaves
And the sweet atmosphere, ever so surprising
It's a start to a new day
Putting a smile on everyone's face
Take it all in
And now you set the pace
