Cold frost settles on the grass,
Ashes fall from the sky, settling on the frost,
The cold barren earth gives its final breath,
For everything is ended,
And what is to come is to come.
While what has happened is what happened,
Everyone has disappeared and gone to their place,
For the fires that consume the ruins of humanity,
Has come to end and leave’s this world bearing no more fruit,
Every happy moment has come and now there will be no more,
Do not despair as there is nothing to despair for,
The world is now a hollow shell, void of all feelings and warmth,
If you are to cry, do not do it here,
For the earth has already witnessed enough sorrow,
Time has ceased to exist, replaced by the Mourning of past events,
The streets are cracked, and never to be walked on again,
Darkness is a demon that dwells here now,
For the sun doesn’t dare show itself to the night,
The water stands still and quiet,
Like a mirror that reflects even the smallest glimmer of moonlight,
The sun will come with dawn,
But for now rest and keep your sanity,
The demons of night dare not bother you,
For they only live in the dark places,
Shades of the night corrupt and made of hatred, and fear,
But do not fear them for they are unable to harm someone so pure,
So sleep until the morning and hope for a better day.
