All my love,
I am leaving here.
Because I cannot cope
With her touching you
And patronizing me.
What is this game you force my young heart to play?
Where happiness is turned to pain,
And rainclouds move in
To chase the curve of my smile away.
I don’t give a damn
What you have to say for yourself
Or anyone at the moment.
I’m sleeping in lately,
Too mortified to look outside,
Too mortified to raise the blinds,
Too mortified to open my eyes.
I only do this
Because I love you
And we could make this earier.
But I’ve had enough,
This has got to stop,
Or I will leave,
And we will see how you hold yourself
without me there to scrape you up.
Don’t make me leave you alone
In this terrible cold.
I would stay,
To keep you warm if you like,
All you must do
Is kill your dreadful demons
And treat me right.
I hate traveling alone,
But if I must,
All my love,
I will be leaving here,
Tonight.
