Final Score
I once met a man
Sporting blackened blocks of clothes
And a cautious hat which stood amongst itself
Sitting in the street.
Mouthed from his stone,
Stern face echoed these words without pause:
“Say my name!”
I thought him insane and moved on.
Twenty years past.
The King kommands the land
Locked to no boundaries.
I find myself sitting from home,
Eyeing his kolossal statues which
Mark his presence,
Wondering
How he has poisoned the very fabrik of humanity.
And in the inscription of this magnificent sculpture
Appears this phrase, once and
Without any echo:
“Say my name.”
I hear him.
