Caught
He has caught me.
 My back hits the wall.
 He is closing in,
 Darkness starts to surround me.
 In one last attempt,
 I look left,
 I look right.
As I am about to give up
 Accept the consequences.
 A corridor appears
A light at the end of the tunnel
 I take it
 He darts after me
 Twisting
 Turning
 Going left
 Going right

 I lost him
 Sighing in relief
 I slow my pace
 It's within my grasp
 I'm almost free
I can feel the light soaking into my skin
 It flickers for a second
 Then disappears
 In its place
 A wall

 His footsteps
 Once soft and distant
 Come closer
 Closer
 Closer
 Getting louder
 Louder
 Louder

A shadow forms in the darkness
 There is no way out

 He has finally caught me
