Pain of Love
The pain is at stake.
Each and every single day.
My heart awaits,
But it seems so unreal.
The chances I take,
Never seem to make me heal.
I've got these feelings,
That I've never dealt with before.
I toss each one up,
Juggling them one by one.
And unless the pain eases,
I don't think I can take this no more.
Every time that love sets in,
All I've got in the end is pain.
And my heart aches more,
The more it breaks.
My true love slipped away,
And now I'm just left without him.
So now I live each day,
With the lingering pain,
buried deep inside my chest.
