A presence behind me
I know it's him
I can't run, for he is stronger
I take everything he says,
The piercing words that bring me down.
His hand raises and I take the blows.
He isn't stopping
My back burning, his hand gripping tighter on my arm as he strikes.
I try to pull away, but I know that won't help.
Stuck under neath a strong body that holds me down.
Each breath I take , I think it's my last.
Until he is finished with me.
Alone.
When is done stripping all of me away.
I wince.
My body aches and all I can think is
Will I be still here tomorrow?
No mercy on a child.
So fragile.
I became.
I fell into the deep dark whole, until they took him away.
They noticed the marks on my body.
All fully healed ten years later.
I look back to the broken girl that still lives inside me......
