What kind of an age is fifteen?
Stuck between the ages 10 and 20
Between childhood and adulthood
Nothing but in the middle
At fifteen you are two years too old to be a child
Yet three years too young to be an adult
You can’t vote
You can’t drive
You can’t hold your mom’s hand
You can’t own a blankie
What kind of an age is fifteen?
When life won’t tell you who you are
Stuck in a transition from
an age that can’t be defined
