As I Look Down
The earth is a strange place
 So dirty and convoluted
 Darkened by the daily race
And that we ourselves have polluted

As I fly above humanities home
The cities, the sounds, the sea
Above the place that I have roamed
Above the cries, the pain, the pleas

 Everything that I held dear
Is nothing but a shallow breath
In time it will but disappear
Along with me upon my death

This sounds so dark and gloomy
But to me it's all but this
For my life is full and blooming
Full of love and full of bliss
