The Blood of An Outcast
Poetry bleeds from the poison of the heart,
Pierced by deeds
And words so sharp.
Spouted from pain, from places unknown.
Secluded,
Separated,
Excluded,
Alone.
The art of the lonely
Is often the best.
Melancholy as it is,
It stands out from the rest.
It whispers insanity so we can shout sane,
Drowning out reality
To start pretending again.
