The way he looks for her
it pains me...
because he doesn't search for me like that

The way he looks at her
when she sits next to him
it pains me...
because he'll never look at me that way

The way he tries to hold her hand
when she smiles in his direction
it pains me...
because my hand will never be in his

The way his eyes light up
when she speaks his name
it pains me...
because his eyes don't do that when I say his name

He shows he is hers
She shows she is his
And the thing I hate about myself??


Is the I'm no her
