Beginnings
Don’t be afraid of how it will end.
 Don’t fear the darkness
 Surrounding your heart,
 Acting as a blanket
 That cloaks your future
 Into the past.
 The past of your childhood,
 The smell of the trees
 And of summer memories.
 Memories of love,
 A soul’s passion and desire
 To trust that falling
 Is flying in disguise.
 Disguises of beauty,
 Of all gorgeous creations
 The world has to offer
 With a radiant smile.
 Smiles of contagious laughter,
 Laughter of finding love,
Loving all there is to life.
Life is of dark and light,
 The light a bright future,
 The dark a nostalgic past.
 Embrace the darkness
 Seeping in,
Greet it with arms wide open,
Revert to the life once loved and
Don’t be afraid of how it will end.
