I wish I could live a different life
Not to be a different person
But to experience the ways of the planet earth that humans could not
To carry a new kind of importance

I want to be a cloud in the sky
I want to blanket the living souls upon earth and be a bed for the souls to rest on as they make their journey to heaven above me
I want to cry out drops of rain to heal the dry ground
I want to be the rain that plummets to earth
The rain that hits the cheeks of two lovers kissing underneath the sky
I want to fill the holes in the ground that children dance around in
I want to be the rainbow that arches in up above
I want to leave people in wonderment and awe by my colors that so many of them know by heart
I want to be the reminder that there is something to look forward to even after a dark and gloomy rainstorm
I want to be the ocean to engulf a majestic new world, unimaginable beyond your wildest dreams
I want to tease the shore of sand where the people’s feet sink far in
I want an orange sun to die behind me and let the moonlight come out to breathe down light all across the water

I want to make people feel something without having to try hard
I want to know what it’s like to do something in this world and know it’s what I am supposed to do
I want to be important.
