The Lifelong Show
I travel the road, entertaining the crowd,
Some simple thoughts and creative thinking is all I need,
To make this show a masterpiece,
I’m not trying to be funny,
You should clap and shout with glee,
But I still hear you laughing at me,
And I don’t find that funny at all,
I try to be a decent actor,
But all you do is kick me back onto the ground,
You’re Abusive and not at all fun,
Why do you have to make faces at me?
I try really hard to make an impression on the world,
But all I hear is laughter,
Millions of faces gawking,
All of them laughing at me,
Like I’m a freak show left out to preform,
Trying to entertain the people, who I hate,
This lifelong show is eating away at me,
I don’t know how long I can last,
Yet I’m still here, preforming my last show.
