A Homeless Heart
Another box filled
 Another room empty
 Bare floors surrounded
 By blank walls.

 More goodbyes,
 More memories
 That are sure to
 Fade soon.

 Another street
 Memorized only
 To be forgotten.

 Another trip taken
 Only to be repeated
 Again soon.

 Another piece of me
 Left behind, with the
 Rest soon to follow

 Falling slowly, until
All that’s left of me are
 Faded numbers of
 My many addresses
 Old friends
 And forgotten
 Memories.
