When he chose to use the drug
he didn't know what was at stake,
it was his first time ever experiencing
this drug they called the gate.

The was ground moving like oceans
under his unsteady stand,
all his reality distorted,
not quite what he had planned.

He couldn't complete a thought
as he stumbled aimlessly around.
Jumping at any movement,
heart skipping at any sound.

So he gets inside his car
to go back home and rest,
an injudicious move,
with his head this drugs starting to mess.

Soon it starts hazing over his eyes
he thought the light was green.
he wasn't prepared at all
for the sorrowful upcoming scene.

It was his first time ever trying,
not like he used it on a regular basis
but not only did it change his life,
it also took somebody else's.
