God's Surgical Glove
Don't be afraid, the worst has yet to come
Though you're in remission, this battle is not yet won
Radiate my nerves, scan my brain
Zap the lungs, alleviate the pain
You've stripped me of my pride
Make me shiver like milk
I know you're inside, you illustrated transfusion
Violently I rip you out
You make me scream, and twist, and shout
Writhing in your pain I suck you out
You've got to be gone, I have no doubt
Lying on the floor gushing from the hole
I have ripped into my flesh
You're lying next to me, you putrid stench
Nothing but a pile of flesh you are
But you've sanctioned this manipulation
And now in the darkness I sit on the floor
Fading in and out, my chest ripped apart
The last sight I see
My family, my love
As I leave this world cancer-free
Upon God's surgical glove
