Broken
I woke up invincible,
Tears lacking placement.
My smile, all but invisible;
My dimples lay adjacent.
Stepped out of the door, winning.
My shoes beating the pavement.
Greeted sun rays with grinning.
I, a Rebel, faced enslavement.
Beaten by society's whip,
They killed my joy.
Fury dripping from my lips,
I no longer feared like a boy.
I came home raging,
Tears became flames.
My emotions, not worth caging.
Im the bull who never aims.
I fell asleep, destroyed.
No words needed to be spoken.
Previous thoughts, now void;
I can be broken..
