Graveyard MAG
My mind is a graveyard.
 Stone angels and

monuments to the dead reside there –
Protecting all that has died there.

 My mind is a graveyard.
The heart writes you an obituary,

 your name highlighted

 your life blacked out –
 Forgetting what you once were.

 My mind is a graveyard.
Ghosts haunt the ruins inside me,

 pacing through destroyed hallways

 and burnt-down ballrooms –
 Pretending they still stand.

My mind, darling, is a graveyard –

 And you are buried there.
