The Void
She's lonely,
with everyone around her.
This spot in her heart,
has yet to be filled.
Emptiness aches,
so loud.
The ones in books,
only last so long.
When she listens to the music,
her heart hurts.
When a car beeps outside,
she hopes it's for her.
No smile is as deep,
as it can be.
Her soul screams for him,
whoever he is.
The tears fall down her cheeks,
staining her skin.
When will someone come for her?
When will she win?
The longer the spot remains empty,
the more it grows.
It's getting too big,
she will be empty.
She will be lost.
Forever.
