“So, I guess we are who we are for a lot of reasons. And maybe we'll never know most of them. But even if we don't have the power to choose where we come from, we can still choose where we go from there."

A determinative end
And an imminent beginning
All at once.

A revelation.

The last resounding note from gently pressed keys;
Final, yet ultimately calming.
Soft pressed lips against your own;
A tentative goodbye, misted with delicate promises of
An even sweeter tomorrow.

The affectionate embrace
Of a gentle mother.
Remedy of juvenile sufferings.
Pains lifted,
Fears diminished;
An irrevocable surge
Of unyielding warmth
To fend off every bad thought, leaving only
Youthful bliss.

Sherbets of raspberry and lemon and orange
Clashing together all at once,
Creating a heavenly palate
Of excitement and mystery.
Three polars blending together
To form a joyous symphony ;
Sending warm tingles all throughout the body,
And into the soul.

Peaceful moments before sleep
In which the mind wanders into the secret cracks
Of magic and wonder.
Fantasies only God Himself could accomplish.
A personal paradise.
All too quickly you are forced into slumber,
With whispered promises of eventual return,
When again you become weary,
And are forced to lay your head to rest.

Holding the hand of the one you love;
Assurance that all is going to be okay
If only for the time being.
Feelings of affection, desire, exhilaration, and optimism
Fill every division of your body,
Finding their only way out
Through the means of a smile.
You squeeze a little harder, not wanting the moment to end,
But knowing it must, for in order to remain magnificent
You must let go and allow time and fate
To bring about this euphoria of the soul
When next again the time is right.

In my Creative Writing class, we had to write a poem describing a sunset to a blind person, so here it is I guess.
