She Said
Her beauty glows
 Underneath her skin
Shining through the judgments that we see.
No words need to be spoken
for her lips to tell a story—
A story of the dark angels that
 Linger within her heart.
 Her soul is black
And penetrated by the evil side,
 Yet her eyes are bright.
 They hold the world—
All for her to explore and to surrender
 Her fate to the gods.
 She is quiet and
 Ugly in every beautiful way.
 She never speaks a word
 To those who snicker
 And laugh at her façade.
 They are ignorantly evil,
And only their souls can corrupt this world.
 But she is inherently good—
Displaying a mask for all to see.
For what they see will lure them into the light.
Just sitting there in the corner—
 Dainty and dark,
 She reveals everything
 By never speaking
 A word.
