Red is blood shed on this world
Orange the fire we burn
Yellow the Sun shines down on us
Green the grass on which we run
Blue the rolling ocean waves
Purple the royal kings and queens
Pink is the salvation
Despite all we've gone through
Rainbows tell the story of hope

The author's comments:
My grandmother inspired me to write this because of her absolute love of rainbows and she has such a good, hopeful outlook on life that I attempted to capture in this peice.
