My Last Words
May the sun continue to shine down upon the living
Do not let my wasted breath hinder your happiness
Keep on chasing the dreams that you have died for
Let the rain pour down upon your fields
May no harm come to you and those you love
Please remember me for who I always was
Do not speak of me by my faults and wrongs
Let the angels sprinkle blessings onto your bowed heads
May my soul be your candle in the dark
And the warmth when the nights are cold and you are alone
Death must take me now into the world that awaits me
Do not shed tears for my lifeless body lying under years of dirt
Do not be angry with the heavens for whisking me away so suddenly
Do not be sad for me when I am not there to make you smile
Just remember who I could have been had I lived longer
Take comfort from the fact that now I can be free and fly away
Do not stand there by my grave and weep for me
Look to the skies and close your eyes, you will see me
