It's just a story
An anecdote without meaning
Life just continues
Goes on and on and on
There is nothing
But there is everything
Whatever happens
It's just a part of life
But why
Why is it like this
All full of sadness
And a need to prove
People want to be like people
But what's the point
Why does society expect one thing
And tell you another
I'm not like others
I don't follow society
But because of that
I feel like an outcast
An outsider
I have been torn
Inside and out
My soul has been crushed
My skin is now shredded
Why do I do it
Some may ask at times
I just smile and tell them
Life
Life makes me do this
So now I take a deep breath
And I say goodbye
