Goodbye, my friend
I'll miss you so
But I wanted you to know
I think I am at peace
with your end.

Goodbye, my friend
I'll miss you bad
I know you're in a better place
But I'll still be sad.

I'm still upset
Tears still fall
You're in my head
But I know you'll wait for me
So I think I'll set you free

Rest in peace
I'll miss you so
and I can't sleep

Rest in peace, my dear friend. This is in memory of my cat that died only a few days ago.I can't sleep because he used to lay by my feet and fall asleep with me every night. Though I'm not sure if I'm really at peace with his absence, or ready to let him go.
