Not my shadow
A shadow cast
 It’s not mine though
 Disfigured
 Broken
 Narrowed
“Why are you so soulless”? I asked
 It moved slightly
 And held out its hand
 “I have to go”
 It shook his head violently
 “I am sorry”
A squeak broke from its lips
 “Bye,” I said
 “No,” the shadow said
 The voice was louder
 Stronger
 Scarier
 The shadow ran to me
“No, you are not me”! I exclaimed
 It was too late
 The shadow grabbed my heart
 I struggle to break free
