Why Did I Do This?

In hands covered in blood
Sat 100 bloody roses
For the one that I love
Why did I do this?
Perfectly and silently asleep
There she sat on the bed
The bed now soaked with blood
What have I done?
As I kneeled next to her
Tears running down my face
The knife drops to the floor
The tears continued to poor
All that I can remember
Is the blood slowly pouring
The sounds and the sights
Her screams and her struggles
As the knife pierces her skin
Reality escaped her eyes
Her struggles finally end
Her body lies dead and limp
