Go ahead, judge me. Just remember to be perfect the rest of your life.

The tall standing oaks and maples burst
in an explosion of colorful pigmentation
Crisp and fragile
Crunching under the boots of passerby's
Snap Snap Snap
In the distance the forest stretches
Long miles of pure greenery coming alive
The branches rattle
Whispering secrets to one another in the swift wind
Its invisible power creating a domino effect
Of motion
The sky overhead is painted
Swipes of pink and orange light up
While the golden orb of the bright sun
Retreats downward in preparation for long awaited slumber
The air grows cold
The breeze chills your bones and rattles your teeth
Crunch Crunch
The sky darkens until the only light is the full moon
And the diamond stars that try so hard
To illuminate the night world
AwOooooooh!
A timber wolf stands tall
Wailing its lament to the moon
The only one who'll listen
Singing of its sorrows
Young squirrels skitter across the path clinging to acorns for dear life
Wide black eyes cautious yet curious
Chitter chitter
Murderous crows launch themselves towards the thick wood branches of oak trees
Tearing the ash gray bark with their long, clawing talons
Cah
Fatigue fills you up as you near your destination
In sight, not very far is
A small wooden cabin in a large clearing
Tall grass sways giving shelter to small creatures
Slithering snakes that hissssssss in warning
Small chipmunks and quick spiders
You brave the vast sea of vegetation and step into the cabin
Dimly lit by a gas lamp
The forest surrounds you
But you are now in your own domain
And the dangers of the vast woods
Are left outside
