"I gotta right to sing the blues/
gotta right to moan and sigh/
I gotta right to sit and cry" From "I gotta right to sing the blues" By Louis Armstrong

I feel it
In the pit of my youth
A lake surrounded in water
A girl at the edge
trembling lips
And a silenced mouth

I saw it
Her soul gone,
Heart taken out by the darkness around her
All her fate rested in soft red rose petals

I heard it
Silence…
Clear, loud, beckoning silence
From the deep murky waters

A hushed whisper
Let it go
Words droned out
Transformed into a soft growl
Let it go
Then louder
Let it go
Then thundered
Let it go

Vibration.
The lake jolting from a monstrous roar
Yet she still knelt there
Soft red rose petals
In palms of a ghost
