*i [the self; the ego; yet slightly depersonalized due to the
deconstruction of my self-
worth] am a collection of atoms,
an animal
made of mostly empty space

and

the spaces
grow,
ever

…expanding. * (note usage of the lowercase “i”)

they [others of my species; infinitely more intelligent] say
the universe is bent towards its own
*Destruction

growing colder

darker,
more isolated; *(note the capitalization of “Destruction” as though it were
more of a person than
i)
the distant stars, they
are dead yet some
still shine.

increasingly more
chaotic,
but not impossible to reverse [entropy can always
decrease]
…we become.

yet much like us,
the universe knows many ways to self-
destruct

and cannot recall [though it began with a unforgettable Bang! like a startled
baby’s first cry] how to be whole,
forgotten what it even
means

and *It's too probable to ignore:
once i have started to
unravel [to become
undone]

quicker, quicker, quicker

the looser my mind becomes and the
less i remember who
i was. *(that is, Destruction)

and the less *I want to.
*(because i cannot remember Me)

First dentistry was painless.
Then bicycles were chainless,
Carriages were horseless,
And many laws enforceless.

Next cookery was fireless,
Telegraphy was wireless,
Cigars were nicotineless,
And coffee caffeineless.

Soon oranges were seedless,
The putting green was weedless,
The college boy was hatless,
The proper diet fatless.

New motor roads are dustless,
The latest steel is rustless,
Our tennis courts are sodless,
Our new religion — godless.

have fun with the spacing?
