Illness MAG
It feels like gray clay behind my eyes
and sea salt stinging my neck
dry milk in the cabinets
making me stir crazy
and I wish there weren't white flies
swarming in my temples
I keep breathing in for colors
and breathing out in hope of hues
and suffocating on flashes of
gray, gray, gray
clay behind my eyes
and underneath my pores
it's soft but it
drowns me.
