He'll be there
One little star, high up above
Came shining to me, came wishing for me
Telling me stories about love
And telling me about its history
The stories always started with ‘I had a life’
And ends with ‘Then, my place is up there’
But I wondered so much, I should listen and write
And retell the story of flair
He’s name, still a mystery yet he liked being called ‘light’
And had a poor family to live with
Went to school in rags and had gone through many fights
But surviving other adventures is more a bliss
After he graduated, or more likely so
He met a girl in a cake shop
She looked like an angel with the little cream bow
And love just came to them with a pop
Light then got married and lived successfully
With a wife, family and children
He loved then so much he smiled happily
And felt like he was in heaven
One day, this young fellow had caught a terrible fever
That caused his body to ache
The last day he smiled and laughed happily
Even if he doesn’t accept his terrible fate
On that same night, I tell you a new star was born
And the joy to the family was back
They cried when they meet, they cry when he’s gone
But the star kept shining so bright
And there goes the story of the star that I told you
And the love he had once before
And if you want to ask him, you will more likely to
He’ll be there, that is for sure!
