unconditionally,

i don't give a damn that it wasn't you.

any and all of the love ghosts
that come in the night with our memories.
my hands are washed and sanitized
and sparkly clean
the soap bubbles popped and ligaments
dried courtesy of double-ply;
you are no longer oil on my skin,
and your indifference is not my problem.
