Not like the movies
driving down the edge
the gap between mankind
doesn’t give me a high,
doesn’t fill my heart with excitement,
doesn’t feel like in the movies
looking at the abundant blue
i am powerless
powerless to the overwhelming feeling
the neverending salty mysteries
that overflow my imagination
with infinite frightening thoughts
that are replicas
of the godly distance it smothers
too me
it’s not a sunset drive,
perfect ending,
to a happy story,
producers got it wrong
forgot the ugly truth
rewind and rewrite.
