My Dear Wife
Dearest Harmony,

 It’s never occurred to me,
 But before I met you,
I was cold, barren, and hollow.
But because of you, I’m changed.
You’ve taught me so many things.
Not only are you my love, Harmony,
 But my teacher as well.

You taught me you’re not afraid of me,
And you taught me not to e afraid.
You taught my heart to race when you
Held my hand or kissed my cheek.
 You taught me to smile
When I hear you sing or
 Feel your touch.
You taught me to laugh, once a sign of weakness,
 Now a sign of bliss.
 You taught me that
 The past can be rewritten,
For life’s ink is not permanent.
But most of all, you’ve taught me
To love the life I was going
 To put to rest.
 I love you Harmony.

 Love, Lyric
