Perception
As the bright light rises,
 I watch the sky burn.
 What once was
  filled with night,
 Is now filled
 with a ball of fire.
 It moves across the sky
 With a small smirk.
 It hits, slams, throws
 me to the ground.
 Brings luminosity to the day
 Only to show inadequacies
 Hidden by the night.
 Perceived by the Race
 As just and divine.
 But only the inferior
 Can see.
 There are many more
 chilling things
 In the day,
 Than the night
