Unarticulated
My eyes are not strangers to the pavement
However, it would be a mistake to assume
That they have never attained liberation
Their gaze is oft interred into the ground
But the fetters of reticence are vunerable
To the willpower of the wronged
Silence empowers those that have nothing to lose
And subordinates others that fear freedom
So I raise my head when need be
And speak through the spirits of the silent
Vociferating in a manner that would
Shake the souls of all humans twofold
It is one thing to weaponize silence
And another to allow it to signal capitulation
So to those that do not speak
 Stare those faces down
 Raise those heads high
 Shout out those war cries
 Do not allow your thoughts
 To be regrettably unarticulated
