She's A Hero in Heaven and on Earth
Heroes can be people that fly high in the heavens.
Heroes can be people right here on this Earth.
My hero's name is Alice. She's my great grandma of almost 92 years. She went through The Great Depression, lost her father at age one. She lost her husband of 62 years, remarried and was married for 3 years before he passed too. My great grandma also lost a son.
My great grandma was a very strong and loving person. She gave to those in need and was happy while doing it.
I know that my great grandma is a hero because even though she lost her father, 2 husbands and a son, she remained a faithful servant to Jesus Christ.
Sadly, on January 11, 2014, my hero passed on into the next life,. Even though she was weak, she insisted on holding my baby brother of 2 months.
It's been hard losing her because I looked up to her, but I know that she's a hero in heaven now.
