Blue stands for battlefield,
That our states fought hard on.
Red stands for the blood we shed,
So our states could stand strong.
White stands for purity,
That healed our soldiers’ hearts.
The stripes and stars stand for thirteen states,
That was one in thirteen parts.
Our flag stands for humanity,
Whether white or black.
It also stands for unity,
So we never turn our back.
The flag is laid upon the grave of hero’s big and small
And is folded up and buried with
The greatest of them all.
Our flag is used as a symbol,
For when we win the war.
For we will stand united ,
No matter what the score.
So if you've seen the U.S flag,
Flying high before.
Stop and think a little bit,
Of what it’s flying for.
