Come walk with me and help me cause trouble

Home is where we belong
But many of us don’t have a home
Have never felt the loving arms of our parents
Have watched their world torn apart
And others live in a big house
On a big hill
With a happy family
And rich parents
Because they have everything
They have to hurt the lesser ones
They beat us up
And call us names
We try to go home
But they follow us
They go online
And post it for everyone to see
Then we hide in our rooms
Alone from the rest of the world
Broken
Just like the rest of us
We don’t do anything about it
For fear it might get worst
For it might just kill us
Damage us
More than we already are
She came from a rich house
A rich mom
And a abusive father
She comes to school
With makeup to cover the bruises
She bullies us
Everyday
Yet we know nothing about her
Except that she’s mean
And she’s rich
We don’t know that everyday
She has to go home and protect
Her mom, and her two little sisters
From her dad
One day she called the cops
And hid her sisters and mom in the basement closet
The cops came two minutes too late
He shot her
Right when the cops pulled up
Now we all know
Her family wasn’t perfect
No matter how she tried to hide it
The truth came out in the end
She didn’t have a home
He was the captain of the football team
Product of a nice mom and a nice dad
Perfect family
Perfect house
Except he was gay
And he hated himself because of it
Everyday he had to fake it
Everything he was
Every night he cut into his skin
“I won’t be gay”
And every morning he would cover it up
And go to school with that football helmet on
One day he forgot to cover it
And his mom saw it
She kicked him out
Told him never to come back
That night he found a gun on the street and shot himself
They didn’t have perfect lives
They didn’t have homes
They tried to fit in
Home is where the heart is
But what if your heart is broken
In tiny bits to tiny to hold
Then where is home?
She was 15
Her mom left her when she was 7
Her dad works three jobs just
To keep a roof over their heads
And food on the table
She found out she had cancer
She didn’t tell her dad
Or anyone
Because she knew she wouldn’t
Have the money to pay for treatment
So she went to school everyday
And shaved her head
Told people it was for cancer
And everyone believed her
Three months later
She fainted in class
Went into a coma
And died
He was a nerd
And smarter than anyone knew about
He was autistic
So people just ignored him
He was a great reader
A great listener
He just couldn’t talk
One day he went walking
In the bad part of town
Some guys started following him
And yelled at him
But he couldn’t talk
So they beat him
Tell he died
He had a home and love
She found love and had a home
He found love in the blood he bleed
She found love in the ones she protected
In the end they all finally found a home
It may be in heaven
Or right back here in a new baby
But now they are safe
From evil
From hurt
And from all the pain
Her mom and sisters were saved
His mom and dad now support gay rights
Her dad is now volunteering in the cancer unit
His school now has a whole special needs wing
They loss their lives for a better cause
They made a difference even after death
They are home
And we all find our home at some point in time
Here i’m home
