Oh Maiden...
Maiden on the lamp post,
Oh sweet maiden,
why you throw away the fogs of time and rip apart the season's fellings?
why you bring about the mist of sorrow and breath about the fires of hell?
Brushing through the green grass and pink posies,
Laying besides the beds of gold,
Oh maiden,
Why you sing the songs of agony and guilt?
The touch of your soft arms wilt the beads of nature and shut the mouths of Nature's children.
Why you so unselfless,
Your trust worth the sands of the desert,
why your heart as hard as the man made roads?
As for even the rocked roads pave wave for the iron hearts,
Why you remain an aloof room to us homeless ones?
As you walk past the distance of minds and circumstance,
We compress ourselves unto thee.
