GREEN MEADOW BY THE LAKE

I went to bed awaiting a day of gloom
When I had a dream
With me and none else
In the green meadow by the lake.
The hot springs sent up
A cloud of warm air
While the lake shimmered blue and green
Like diamonds and emeralds filled within.
A bookshelf and a lake
I love such a life
Without worries of friend or fiend
I had a great day up to end.
I was relishing the solitude
When I was shook awake
I miss the solitude and joy
And the green meadow by the lake.
