This morning I was given an important choice
The same choice i am obliged to make day after day
But nevertheless, a choice of significance
I can wake up and walk and talk and breath
Or I can live
Do something spontaneous, something important
After all, where is the fun in existing without living?
Like watching a movie without paying attention to the plot
That life is pointless
But it is safer, and that seems important somehow
I could be an angel or a devil
It doesn't matter as long as I am something
It's my decision and the jury's out
This is my verdict:
Today, I'm calling my own shots
Not anyone else, not even fate
I am not the protagonist, but the author
I'm the one with the pen in my hand
My story is unwritten
And I intend to be the one writing it

To love is to be vulnerable; Triumph is born out of struggle; We notice shadows most when they stand alone in the midst of overwhelming light.

Oh, wow. I love this. This is just beautiful and wonderful and amazing to me. It's so true. It has so much depth and truth. There is no fun in existing without living; that's just not it was meant to be. We were meant to live. :) And in a way in life, it's true. we're the ones the pens in our hands, whether we realize it or not. And we're the ones that are writing it, with our choices. Haha, if that makes sense. I love this. You really do have such an amazing talent and greatness in you; you're a wonderful and amazing writer and person. Never stop believing that. :) Thank you so, so, much for sharing this. :)
