The Black Rose
The Black Rose:
Temptation,
A Dark Beauty beckons to me,
Alluring and Luscious, like a dark
And rare flower.
A Black Rose, sharp with thorns,
Irresistible.
But, the Black Rose will bring naught
But ruin
To those who seek this cursed bloom.
It will not bring happiness or satisfaction,
Only despair, angst, and a dark lust for more,
An unquenchable hidden desire.
Those who seek Light and Truth are
Far better off,
For those who seek shall find water that
Quenches man’s deepest desire,
And they shall find Love.
They will no longer be weak, nor alone.
They are no longer chained to sin and
Human desire.
They will be free.
