Jane Grey
A figure cloaked in white
 Walking step by step
 Slowly, across the cold ground
 All eyes on her
As she strode to her fate
Her feet echoing through the halls
Mixing with the noise of mourning
 Mourning for her life
 Her eyes are covered
 All she sees is darkness
Yet she knows what awaits her
 She listens to her mourners
She listens to the sound of her feet
Her heart pounds to the rhythm
Jane can hear them all around her
 Watching her with glazed eyes
She can feel them all around her
She is gently directed down to her knees
She reaches out to find solid ground
She is met with the chopping block
She hears the cries that vibrate through the air
She hears the metal scraping her way
 A figure cloaked in white
 Soon to be stained red
